Atrium180 recently sponsored three local professionals to complete "The Power of You" Facilitator Certification, a 95-hour training conducted by Peace in Schools. The three people who attended the training are Beth Ford, Director of Impact + Engagement at TC Strong; Keri Zink, board member at TC Strong; and Gracie Howell, a mental health professional at the Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club.

The Peace in Schools program helps prepare facilitators to support teens through mindfulness-based practices, including meditation, conscious communication, self-compassion, movement, experiential learning, peer sharing, and group discussion. The training is designed to help bring practical tools for attention, emotional awareness, resilience, and well-being into environments where young people learn and grow.

Beth, Keri, and Gracie completed this comprehensive 95-hour training in March 2026. Each is preparing to lead classes for teens using the tools and practices developed through this certification.

This work reflects Atrium180’s mission to support educators, youth-serving professionals, and community leaders who are helping young people build attention, emotional steadiness, resilience, and self-awareness.

If you are interested in a Mindful Studies course for your teen, please contact Beth Ford at beth@wearetcstrong.org. To learn more about the course that Beth, Keri, and Gracie completed, visit https://www.peaceinschools.org/training-institute.
